Security or Economic Recovery Plan?
I'm traveling today…I'm watching dozens of people be forced to either dipose of benign items or mail them back to themselves. Sorry to say, but it doesn't make me feel more secure…
Funny thought though…considering how many consumable items people are being forced to throw in the trash, vendors must be seeing the effects as those consumers purchase replacements. Perhaps the US Post Office is seeing an increase of revenue due to forced mail-back-your-harmless-items-please campaign.
On the other side of security, I saw several people buy bottles of Coke, drink maybe 1 or 2 ounces and then throw away the rest of the bottle because we're not allowed to take aboard these items which were sold to us on the other side of security.
Perhaps it's a good time to invest in land fill space…
